  • People aged 75 years and over
  • People aged between 18 and 64 years who are Immunosuppressed, Click here for specific criteria.

RSV Vaccinations

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) mostly causes cold-like symptoms, but some groups such as the elderly and very young children can experience more serious infections. For this reasons people falling within the following groups are being offered the RSV vaccine:

  • People aged 75 to 79 years of age
  • Women who are at least 28 weeks pregnant – getting the vaccine as soon as possible from 28 weeks will give the best protection to your baby, but can be given up until labour
